Color Basics
The Color Wheel, which was designed by Sir Isaac Newton back in 1666, is a model that illustrates the various color hues and sometimes their various saturations. It shows the relationships and color temperature between primary, secondary, and tertiary colors.
The basic Color Wheel actually consists of 12 colors. Below is a list of the Color Wheel's categories and names:
Primary Colors cannot be mixed with any other color which is why it is called 'primary':

Neutral Colors
Neutral Colors are not usually displayed in the Color Wheel. They consist of Whites, Grays, Blacks, Tans and Browns.
